“I am a graphic designer”, the lady sitting next to us at the cafe said, “been here for a year, luckily spending the worst part of Covid on the island. I guess I’m what you would call a digital nomad. But my visa ran out a few months ago and my immigration agent in Bangkok keeps asking for more money”.
